You may notice that your Tangerine Oil has some sediment in it. Don’t worry, this is just naturally occurring waxes that help make the beautiful aroma of the oil. Our Tangerine Oil is cold pressed, so it retains all the wonderful nutrients of the fruit. Just remember to give the bottle a good shake before use and the sediment should disperse.
How to use
Dilution
Dilute at a percentage of 1% of the finished blend, 1ml (approx. 20 drops) of essential oil to 100ml of carrier oil. Do not use undiluted on the skin. You can use up to 3% dilution for use on your body or in the bath. Consult your doctor or midwife before using during pregnancy.
Massage
Use Organic Tangerine Oil to make your own massage blend. We recommend Sweet Almond #215, Grapeseed #210 or Coconut Oil #203.
Aromatherapy
Add a few drops to your oil burner or diffuser and enjoy the invigorating and refreshing aroma of Organic Tangerine.
Hair Care
Add a couple of drops to your shampoo or conditioner for a zesty boost!
DIY Beauty
Use Organic Tangerine Oil to make your own simple facial toner by adding a few drops to Witch Hazel #702, just remember to shake before use. You can mix Orange Sweet oil with your choice of carrier oil to make your own simple face or body oil.
In the Bath
For a wonderful, aromatic spa experience at home, try combining Organic Tangerine with one of our carrier oils and add it to your bath, leaving you smelling beautiful and your skin felling silky smooth.
