Cold Pressed Lemon Essential Oil is phototoxic, meaning that it can cause skin sensitivity and over pigmentation of the skin when exposed to sunlight after using the oil. We recommend that you avoid being exposed to sunlight directly after using the oil and diluting it at 0.7% if you wish to use it topically.

How to use
Dilution
Dilute at a percentage of 0.7% of the finished blend. Do not use undiluted on the skin. You can use up to 2% dilution for use on your body or in the bath. Consult your doctor or midwife before using during pregnancy.
Massage
Use Lemon Oil to make your own massage blend. We recommend Sweet Almond #215, Grapeseed #210 or Coconut Oil #203.
Aromatherapy
Add a few drops to your oil burner or diffuser and enjoy the invigorating and refreshing aroma of Lemon.
Hair Care
Add a couple of drops of Lemon to your shampoo for a refreshing hit when you shower or try creating an intensive hair mask.
Bath Oil
Mix a few drops with one of our carrier oils and add to your bath to give a wonderful invigorating spa experience to your bathroom, leaving your senses awakened and your skin feeling silky and smooth.
DIY Beauty
Use as an ingredient in your homemade lotions, balm, creams and serums. Use Lemon Oil to make your own simple facial toner by adding a few drops to Witch Hazel #702.
Green Cleaning
Lemon is amazing for cleaning. For a super easy degreaser spray, add 1ml of Lemon Oil to 50ml of white vinegar and shake well to mix. Perfect for cleaning the cooker. Spray on, leave it sit for a couple of minutes to work its magic, then wipe off. Sprinkle a few drops in your bins to help deodorise and keep your bin smelling fresh.
